This week we are going to show you our recent bathroom remodel design. You won’t believe what this bathroom started out as!
For one of our latest projects, we were able to work with an amazing couple to help them finish out the basement of their home. This design included a full bathroom.
We were basically starting from ground zero. The before of the bathroom was just concrete and a toilet.
We’ve came a long way since then!
Working with the clients to make selections is one of my favorite parts. During out initial meeting it was clear that this client wanted to keep things fairly neutral.
For the floors, we went with the classic marble-look tile. However, kept things a bit more modern by using 12×24 polished tiles. These tiles are porcelain, but have the most stunning stone look to them.
For the shower wall tile, we went with a neutral, white subway tile, but with a little bit of texture to it. It really gives the shower walls some great movement and catches the light beautifully. Then we accented the back of the niche with a mosaic in the same porcelain as the floor to tied everything together.
Bathroom Fixtures & Accessories...
For the fixtures, we went with a classic chrome finish on the faucets and the shower door hardware.
As for the vanity, we went with a black, single sink, free standing piece. Linked here.
We also decided to keep with the chrome accents on the sconces. Linked here.
Using basic, classic colors throughout the more permanent pieces of this remodel gave the client the ability to add a little extra something to the wall behind the vanity without it looking too busy. I love the way it turned out! I feel like all the parts complement each other perfectly!
